Yakuza (ヤクザ or やくざ , Yakuza?), also known as gokudō (極道, gokudō?), are members of traditional organized crime groups in Japan, and also known as the "violence group".

A Yak is a derogatory term that refers to the Yakuza. The term is used by Japanese young people and foreign persons familiar with Japanese culture.

Today, the Yakuza are among the largest crime organizations in the world. In Japan, as of 2005, there are some 86,300 known members.[1] In Japanese legal terminology, yakuza organizations are referred to as bōryokudan, literally "violence groups", which Yakuza members consider an insult as it can be applied to any violent criminal.

Rules

1: Always respect the highest rank members, and follow his orders
Follow the server rules at all times

2: When you are wearing the family crest in a public place, don't do anything that might hurt the gang's reputation.

3:Inside the gang headquarters, when you greet someone, sit in seiza (type /injured)

4: When you greet someone on the street, never take your eyes off him or her, Never give a person an opening to attack you. The only people you should
lower your eyes to are your seniors in the gang and the oyabun (boss).

5: When you are given an errand or task to do, take full responsibility for it.

6: Think of everyone else as a part of your family and don't think of yourself as an individual. Don't argue or form factions within the gang.

7: If you have a fight or dispute with someone from another gang, if that person is wrong, never back down, even if they are tougher or in a higher position than you.

8: If there is a big problem, stay calm and think about what you can do personally to improve the situation.

9: Avoid becoming complacent and never lose the spirit and enthusiasm that you had when you first joined the gang.

10: Endeavour to learn the rules, names of gang members, and practices of the gang as best you can.

Rank Assasin Rule

A kill must be done so that no other people see you. This rule is very important. Each Assassin's job is to stay shrouded in secrecy. If you have seen TENCHU, then you know that sneaky people don't battle out in the open.

1:If you kill someone with a witness, the kill will not be legitimate. You will still be alive, but so will your victim. Additionally, witnessing Assassins may take you on as a target.

2: If you get antsy, and your target finds you out while you are making a hit, then he/she/it has the right to kill you. Plain, simple self-defense. If you are an Assassin and you witness a hit, then contact The Director. He will assign you the Assassin you witnessed, and you will be authorized to kill her/him/it as well. Of course the witnessed Assassin will be warned.
